September is designated "Hunger Action Month" and NYPD Pizza Corporate is getting involved to make a difference in our community.

Dine in our MetroWest-Hiawassee Central Florida location on Thursday, September 8th from 4PM to 10PM to donate a portion of sales back to Second Harvest Food Bank when you mention their name. It's that easy!

The five NYPD Pizza Central Florida locations raised a total of $2,351 in 2011 with fundraising efforts for (MDA) Muscular Dystrophy Association.

NYPD Pizza was featured on the MDA Telethon and presented the $2,251 check on September 4th, 2011 on the local WB TV station.

MDA will still accept donations to continue assistance for the research, families and children affected by this disease.

NYPD Pizza has joined forces with local Public and Private Schools by signing with the program "Partners in Education".

The Corporate Metro West and College Park NYPD Pizza locations have held school fundraiser nights to raise money that goes directly back into the schools.

Metro West Elementary has already held two events and Gotha Middle School has also participated in the 2010-2011 school year.

The upcoming schedule will include Princeton Elementary School on May 28th, 2011 and Lee Middle School on June 1st, 2011 at the College Park 2912 Edgewater Dr. location.

The Corporate Marketing Director Mallysa Byrnes says; "We are always available and looking to assist in the community in some way. NYPD Pizza has always gone the extra mile to help since we were established in 1996 and we will always stay committed to giving back. The shamrock sale / fundraiser assists local families suffering from the disease in the community.

Utah area developers open their third NYPD Pizza location in West Valley City, Utah with three more planned for Salt Lake City region
